National Scholarships

Please check back frequently for updates!

Tips for applying for national scholarships:

  1.  They should always be FREE! You should never pay a fee to apply for a scholarship. If it costs you money, it is NOT a scholarship.
  2.  Don't just go for the big money -- a lot of people skip over the smaller scholarships, a little can add up to a lot !!!
  3.  Applying to scholarships can be time consuming, keep your list to a manageable amount. How many scholarships can you REALISTICALLY apply to, in addition to maintaining good grades, extracurricular activities, and sleep? Make a plan and stay organized.
  4. Make sure you answer scholarship questions fully. Be specific and tailor your questions to THAT scholarship. The scholarship review committee doesn't know you-- personal statements are your way to connect with committees and demonstrate why they should pick YOU!
